How can I get the most out of my skillset in my Job Hunt?

Everybody's got them. If you're rejected either for an interview or a job offer, it is natural that you start to think about what you're good at, rather than what the hiring manager wants.

It can be very easy to get hung up on your skills and your expertise when facing the word 'no'. But you need to take a step back and think about what your potential employer needs. Then match your skills and previous experience to that, to demonstrate you can offer value for their business.

Don't dwell too much on your past achievements, but instead refer to these in the context of the business you want to work for, and you'll show them what you could do in their world.

So, separate your emotions from your job search, think like a surgeon, and demonstrate how your skills could add value to the company you're interviewing for and you'll have much more success.
